Safety First!

So it has been a while since Chris removed the railings to pull up the carpet in the Living Room and stairs (note the new paint...ohhh, awww):

So while this hasn't yet been a problem for us, it was probably about time that we put them back up and spared us some accidents. This past weekend Chris went to it. First the railings in the Living Room that separate it from the Dining Room went back up:

And then the short one that keeps you from falling down the short set of stairs in the Living Room:

Finally, it would be the railing going up the stairs to the second floor. Sadly, there was some stripped bolts that required a quick trip to the hardware store before gratification. But now we are all set:

Now not only do those rooms look much better, but they are safer now too.
